IF YOU’VE NEVER
HAD TO DEAL
WITH THIS SH*T
What these experts survived will change how you operate.

69% of CISOs and CIOs have been told to keep breaches confidential. Bryan Marlatt, a former CISO, resigned rather than downplay an incident on an SEC filing. Uber CISO Joe Sullivan was convicted for how he handled a breach.
That's the industry Red Mirror was built to change.
The people
who lived to
tell the story
Practitioners speaking directly to practitioners.
CISOs. Incident responders. Founders. Operators.
the moments
that changed everything
Events that reshaped how cybersecurity is practiced today.
Breaches. Calls. Turning points. Wins.
the thinking
behind the
decisions
What leaders saw, what they weighed, and why they chose the path they did.
Not the headlines. The reasoning.
1. Reach out. Fill out the form or email us directly. Danielle reads every message personally and responds within 48 hours.
2. We find your story together. A conversation before the camera ever turns on. We learn what the industry needs to hear from you specifically.
3. Final review together. Bold truths that strengthen the industry belong on film. Anything that compromises security, careers or communities never makes the cut. We draw that line together before anything is released.
Leave your legacyDanielle Lewan
CEO & Co-Founder
to everyone who chose this field,
Clint and I were making our first cybersecurity docuseries together when the investors told us to cut certain CISOs from the project. It was at that moment that I truly understood how corporate politics have engineered our perceptions instead of realities.
I had spent nearly a decade inside this industry by then. I came in as an investigative journalist, built three marketing departments from the inside of vendors, and interviewed more than 250 cybersecurity leaders along the way. Clint spent that same decade making films for HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. We both came from worlds that train you to spot a managed narrative from a mile away.
When the investors told us to soften the stories, we knew the industry was in desperate need of an independent film studio. Red Mirror Studios exists because this industry's most powerful knowledge is sitting inside the careers of the people who lived it and nowhere else.
You built this field. It is time the field heard from you, warts and all.
Everyone else? Grab your popcorn.

The most powerful stories are the ones people are afraid to tell. My job is to make them feel safe enough to tell them anyway.
Fifteen years directing documentary, branded, and narrative film. Work commissioned by HBO. the NFL, American Airlines, and national security brands. At Red Mirror, he brings the same craft he has applied to the world's biggest platforms to the stories cybersecurity has never been able to tell.

Frequently
asked questions
Every generation of cybersecurity practitioners carries lessons the
next one should hear. What’s yours?
How are sponsors credited in the films?
Sponsors are credited at the beginning and end of every film they support, across all social media and press materials, and in every announcement tied to the series release. Your brand becomes a permanent part of the episode or series record.
Senior cybersecurity practitioners. CISOs, incident responders, founders, and operators.
Where do the films end up?
On Red Mirror's platforms and distributed directly through our network of practitioners into the communities where this industry actually has its real conversations.
Do I get paid for participating?
No. What you leave behind is a permanent record of what you built and what the next generation needs to hear. That is what this is for.
